He is one of many netizens who got behind the Milk Tea Alliance that was formed in April 2020, when a Twitter war erupted between Chinese netizens and pro-democracy Thais. This Gen z, online movement is calling out China’s rising power and supporting home-grown democracy movements through self-deprecating humour, trolling Chinese bots and memes.
