Inside the Mind of a Visual Artist Turning COVID Blues Into Beautiful Art

Over 60 percent of Gen Z in Asia reported a decline in mental health since COVID-19 struck, freelance visual artist, Howie Kim, was no different. His signature style of surreal and whimsical art pieces were fueled by social interactions – without which he was drained of inspiration. Anxious and frustrated, he turned inwards for solace, and surprisingly found an inner world that could both inspire and heal. Inner Worlds with Howie Kim gives us a peak into his inner world, showing how in the darkest of times, looking within can give us the strength to adapt and grow.
