The first teaser trailer for “The Batman” premiered at the DC FanDome event. The trailer includes an in-depth look at actor Robert Pattinson’s turn as Bruce Wayne, aka Batman. This time around, the caped crusader is a young detective in a film inspired by 1970s classics like “Chinatown” and “Taxi Driver.” The trailer also gave us a first look at The Penguin, played by an unrecognizable Colin Farrell, as well as a few possible glimpses at The Riddler, played by Paul Dano.
Editor’s note: At 1:30, we incorrectly label the clip as “Batman: The Animated Series” (1992) when, in fact, it is from “Batman Vs. Robin” (2015).
