I Was Kidnapped By Somali Pirates

On April 11 2010, 20-year-old Pralav Dhyani was working aboard RAK Afrikana when it was hijacked by Somali pirates. The ship was taken to Harardhere in Somalia, where it was held for 332 days before negotiations between the shipping company and the pirates finally came to a close. The mental anguish and trauma of being held hostage was debilitating for the 26 crew members and conditions were made even harder due to a lack of water, proper food, electricity, and healthcare. This is Pralav’s story.

Going Off the Beaten Path with Hong Kong’s Lesser Known Haunts

Hong Kong isn’t just a bustling metropolis for shoppers and foodies. Some other things you can do include: follow a professional guide to forage wild plants and herbs (and even trying out the world’s smallest orange), training to become a pro-wrestler, and just sitting back and enjoying the idyllic lifestyle of some of the lesser-known parts of Hong Kong.

Join rapper and producer Dough-Boy as he experiences these things himself.

Sumo’s Infamous Move – Henka

Every sumo wrestling match starts with both wrestlers charging towards each other also known as Tachi-ai. However, sometimes a sumo wrestler tries to sidestep at the tachi-ai and avoids the initial contact causing his opponent to lose balance. This technique is called Henka and most sumo fans frown upon this move and often regarded as bad sumo and unworthy of higher ranked wrestlers.

Despite the hate, Henka is a legal move in Sumo Wretling so I compiled all Hakuho Sho’s bouts where he uses henka. Hope you enjoy! As always thank you for@ watching. Hakkeyoi!!

I Was a North Korean Spy Sent To Kill South Korea’s President | Bad Blood

On January 17 1968, 31 North Korean special force members crossed South Korea to kill the President. Kim Shin-jo is one of two survivors who lived to share their story.

CORRECTION: @11:22 – The text description ” All of Kim’s comrades committed suicide except him” is not an accurate depiction of the context. It should read ” Most of Kim’s comrades committed suicide or were killed”. We regret the error.

The Drug Overdose Capital of Europe | Developing News

Photojournalist Paolo Marchetti’s brushes with the darker side of society arise from a desire to look where nobody else wants to look, hoping to spark change through dialogue. From the tragedy of child prostitution in China to the rise of Europe’s far right, Marchetti’s work reveals uncomfortable truths about our world.

The Biggest Sandwiches in Maine Are At Big G’s

Gerry Michaud Jr. is the man behind Big G’s Deli, a low-key sandwich spot in Winslow, Maine, not far from Colby College. Gerry has been feeding locals since 1986 when he opened his deli and serves up some of the largest sandwiches you’ve ever seen, thanks in part to his own ingenious quest for the perfect sandwich bread, which he makes at the deli.Click here to SUBSCRIBE to VICE Asia: https://bit.ly/2LhqAR9
