How We Staged a UFO Hoax | Fakes, Frauds and Scammers
In 2009, Joe Rudy and Chris Russo of New Jersey set out on a “social experiment” to prove they could hoax UFO experts with their own fake spacecraft. They attached flare lights to helium balloons and let them go at night. Sure enough, people started calling 911 with reports of UFOs. They revealed themselves to the public and were sentenced to community service for “disorderly conduct”. We sit down with Joe and Chris to hear how (and why) they perpetrated the hoax.

Baruto Kaito – Yusho – January 2012 Championship
Kaido Höövelson also known as Baruto Kaito is the first Estonian who reached the rank of Ozeki and has multiple championships under his belt including Makuuchi (Jan 2012), 3 times in Juryo Division, 1 Makushita, Jonidan and Jonokuchi. Before retiring from Sumo Wrestling and venturing into the world of MMA, politics and business he made his own mark in grand sumo wrestling. In January 2012, he recorded an amazing 14-1 not only claiming the Emperor’s Cup but respect from the Sumo Community. It’s a little bit anti climatic because he failed to beat the “final boss” on Day 15, but amazing performance overall.

The Junk King of Texas | Local Legends
Vince Hanneman, AKA The Junk King, has become famous in Austin for the massive, multi-room, 60-ton Cathedral of Junk he has been building on his property since the 80s. As the structure grew, he faced complaints from neighbors, resulting in threats from the local government to cease and desist. However, he remained stubborn, jumping through all the hoops officials threw his way so that he could keep the structure standing. Vince, who resides on the same property as his structure, only allows appointments made over the phone. Visitors who show up without an appointment are often turned away. Vince and his Cathedral of Junk encapsulates the infamous slogan, “Keep Austin Weird”.

How Holland Came Out as K-Pop’s First Openly Gay Idol | Rainbow Guide to Life
K-pop star, Holland, is commonly referred to as the ‘first gay k-pop idol’ in the media.
