Kanagawa Enoshima Part II – 江の島 – 4K Ultra HD
Kanagawa Enoshima Part II – 江の島 – 4K Ultra HD : Enoshima’s hidden little village, with its small shrines, is by far the best part of this Island. With a unique view of Mt.Fuji, the place looks like it was frozen in time with villagers living almost completely cut from the rest of the world. If you continue further down to the shore you will stumble upon a gorgeous rocky beach that will give you one of the best views of Mt. Fuji you can have, and it is by far one of our favorites. If you are looking from some more adventure the place also offers two small caves that may not be as breathtaking as the view of Mt. Fuji over the sea, but good enough for the curious minds out there.

Zojo-ji temple Jizo Statues Part II – Tokyo – 三縁山増上寺 – 4K Ultra HD
Zojo-ji temple Jizo Statues Part II – 三縁山増上寺 – 4K Ultra HD : Close to the main Daiden, Zojo-ji Temple main building, stands a very unique cemetery also known as the Unborn Children’s Garden, where people come and and pray for the miscarried, aborted or stillborn children of Japan.
This cemetery or garden, is unique in many ways since unlike usual cemeteries you will not find any graves, but hundreds of small stone statues that parents can choose and decorate with small clothing and toys for their unborn child or children. Also to make sure that their child/children will have the chance to be brought to the afterlife, parents and family members usually put a small gift next to the statute to Jizo (Jizō) the guardian of unborn children, to ensure that their child or children will find their way to heaven safely.

Zojo-Ji Temple Part I – Tokyo – 三縁山増上寺 – 4K Ultra HD
Zojo-Ji Temple Part I – 三縁山増上寺 – 4K Ultra HD : What stands out the most here at Zojo-Ji temple is the striking contrast between the old and new Japan. While its immediate neighborhood is dominated by modem buildings and Tokyo Tower, Zojo-ji feels like it has been stuck in a bubble where time moves at a slower pace to its surroundings.
Located a few steps away from Tokyo Tower, Zojo-ji temple is a buddhist temple and the main temple for the Chinzei branch of Jōdo-shū Buddhism. Built in 1393, it was only in 1598 that the Zoji-temple moved to its current location. To this date, only the Sangedatsumon Gate (main entrance) has succeeded in withstanding fires, earthquakes and wars, while the main building, also known as Daiden, has had to be rebuilt many times over.
While the main attraction here is the temple itself and the possibility for many to take a gorgeous picture of both Daiden (the main temple) with Tokyo Tower in its background, others come to Zojo-ji Temple to visit the Tokugawa mausoleum (only open during some special occasions and some public holidays) and its Jizō statues at the cemetery of Unborn Children that we will cover in depth in the second part of this video.

Matsumoto Castle – 松本城 – 4K Ultra HD
Matsumoto Castle – 松本城 – 4K Ultra HD : Depending on where you are getting your information from, Matsumoto Castle in Nagano is either the second or third most beautiful castle in Japan, and to be fair, we cannot disagree here! Located about 220km away from Tokyo it is considered to be one of Japan’s most important national treasures.
Built in the 16th century, the Matsumoto Castle is unlike many other Japanese castles, built on a plain rather than on a hill or mountain top and surrounded by a picturesque moat.
Gorgeous from the outside, Matsumoto Castle also offers a unique chance for its visitors to travel into the past by allowing them to visit each and every floor, making Matsumoto Castle such a unique experience with its many exhibitions of historical weapons and other architectural wonders.
Highly recommended all year long, Matsumoto Castle is one of these marvels of Japan that everybody needs to visit once in their lifetime!
