Odawara Castle and Cherry Blossoms – Kanagawa – 小田原城 – 4K Ultra HD
Located around 60 to 70km away from Tokyo and close to the Izu peninsula, Odawara Castle is a small, yet beautiful castle and maybe the only one worth visiting around Tokyo. But what most people do not know is that during the cherry blossom period, Odawara Castle is by far one of the best Sakura spots around! Better still, go and find the playground behind the castle to get some stunning views of the castle’s main tower surrounded by some gorgeous fluffy sakuras!!!!

Situé à une soixantaine de kilomètres de la capitale, et proche de la péninsule d’Izu, le château d’Odawara est un magnifique petit château, et certainement un de ceux qu’il est impératif de visiter aux alentours de Tokyo. Mais ce que la plupart des gens ne savent pas, c’est que ce château est l’un des meilleurs endroits où apprécier la floraison des cerisiers blancs (Sakura) ! Pour aller encore plus loin, rendez vous sur le terrain de jeu derrière le château afin de capturer des vues uniques de la tour principale cernée par des sakuras bien fournis !!!

Ooka River Cherry Blossoms – Yokohama – 大岡川 – 4K Ultra HD
Ooka River is located in a residential area in Yokohama. All year long the river has not much to offer, but once a year, during a very short week, the Ooka river turns into a cherry blossom (Sakura) wonderland with a several kilometer long stretch of pure pink cotton candy.

Tout au long de l’année, la rivière n’a pas grand chose à nous offrir excepté pendant la courte semaine annuelle de la floraison des cerisiers blancs (Sakura) où ses rives prennent alors l’aspect d’une barbapapa rose s’étirant sur plusieurs kilomètres.

Tokyo Midtown Cherry Blossoms illumination – Tokyo – 東京ミッドタウン – 4K Ultra HD
We already covered Tokyo Midtown extensively in the past with coverage during the day and during the illumination of the area that takes place every December. Today we will once again come and visit Midtown at night and this time in order to enjoy some of its finest cherry blossoms (Sakura). Cherry blossom illuminations are just dead gorgeous and for some the best way to enjoy them.

Sakura at Edogawa Koen – Tokyo – 江戸川公園 – 4K Ultra HD
Most of the year Edogawa Koen is your average small Tokyo park stuck between buildings with a gentle little river. Once a year it turns into a magnificent oasis of flowers during the Hanami season.
