Most Vicious Move in Sumo Wrestling – Nodowa

Nodowa (喉輪) is when a Sumo Wrestler thrust his open palm into his opponent’s throat or face area to push his center of gravity up and backwards. If you’re new to Sumo Wrestling, you’ll definitely be surprised when you see it for the first time. However, its a legal move in Grand Sumo Wrestling and its very effective if executed correctly.

My School Trained Me To Be An ISIS Fighter | I Was There

In 2016, when Aman Bong* was 15 years old, he decided to enroll in his local Madrasah, an Islamic religious school in Marawi, Philippines. At first, the teachers were kind to him while he focused on learning the Qur’an. However, he later discovered that they were secretly members of the ISIS Maute Group. Eventually, the teachers told their students that their mission was to claim the province for Muslims. Students were made to pledge to the flag of ISIS and children as young as eight years old were taught how to use guns. This is Aman’s story of escape and survival.

*Since the May Philippine Presidential election, Aman has become worried for his safety and has chosen to hide his identity.

How The Kung Fu Fight Scenes Were Shot In ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ | Movies Insider

The fight scenes in “Everything Everywhere All at Once” put a fresh spin on classic kung fu movies. We spoke with stunt coordinator Timothy Eulich and fight choreographers Andy and Brian Le about how the movie’s most impressive action sequences came together.

Timothy, Andy, and Brian worked with directing duo Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, aka the Daniels, to plan and execute the film’s fight scenes on a tight budget and shooting schedule, shooting almost entirely within the confines of a single warehouse building in Southern California. Here, they talk about the inspirations and references they pulled from in choreographing the action in “Everything Everywhere,” from classic Hong Kong movies and Jackie Chan action flicks to break dancing and parkour.

Timothy has worked as a stunt coordinator and performer on TV series like “Westworld” and “Stranger Things” and films like “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and “Cobra Kai.” Previously, he collaborated with the Daniels on their A24-released “Swiss Army Man,” starring Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe.

Andy and Brian are the brothers and self-taught martial artists behind the popular YouTube channel Martial Club. They appear in several scenes of “Everything Everywhere” as both actors and stunt doubles, most memorably opposite Michelle Yeoh in the IRS trophy fight. Previously, the siblings worked on Marvel’s “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” with Andy playing the Death Dealer in the film.

The Games That Turned Into One of India’s Biggest Scams | The Big Steal

In 2003, India was chosen to host the 19th Commonwealth Games slated for 2010. Inflated contracts and crooked deals ballooned the budget for the Games from around 412 million to an eye-watering estimate of 6 billion dollars.

This is the story of how officials set up a maze of scams at one of the biggest sporting events in the world bringing down India’s reputation on an international stage.

Mine Hakusan Shrine’s Koinobori – Tokyo – 白山神社 (嶺白山神社)

Mine Hakusan Shrine is a small Shinto Shrine located in the Ota district of Tokyo. It’s not too far from where I live!. There is nothing special per se with this VERY small Shrine, but people taking care of it are doing their very best to keep tradition up and running and make this little Shrine beautiful all year long. For example during Children’s Day (May 5th) or Kodomo No Hi, the Shrine is decorated with beautiful Koinobori Windsocks.

Kodomo No Hi, is the celebration of children’s personalities and to celebrate their happiness. During Kodomo No Hi, parents raise carp-shaped Koinobori windsocks, which float in the wind. Koinobori is linked to an old Chinese legend where carp swim upstream to become a dragon and fly to heaven.

Each Koinobori color normally has a meaning. The top black one represents the father, the middle red/pink one is for the mother and the bottom small blue/green/orange represents children.

How A $3,000 Cartier Watch Is Professionally Restored | Refurbished | Insider

Joe runs the YouTube channel Nekkid Watchmaker, where he restores vintage and antique watches. He shows us how he restores a Cartier Tank watch from the 1980s. He deconstructs the entire watch, fixes the movement, cleans dirt out of it, puts all of the parts into a cleaning solution, polishes the pieces, gold-plates the case, and reassembles it.
