RJ Palmer designed a series of realistic-looking Pokémon on DeviantArt, which were popular with fans of the series. The production designer of the new Pokémon movie “Detective Pikachu” found his work online and asked him if he wanted to work on the film. We spoke with RJ about his work and how he helped bring the Pokémon in the movie to life.
